OEM Bending Section – Also can be known as the articulation section, is comprised of multiple cylindrical segments that are connected by rivets to allow articulation in either 2 or 4 directions depending on the model. They sit at the end of the insertion tube and as the doctor angulates the endoscope, the angulation wires that lead into the bending section pulls it in the desired direction.
